PeaceMaker’s community programme focuses on equipping members of communities; young people, adults and community groups, first to come to terms with their own prejudice and secondly to take this learning and apply it within their own communities. In this way PeaceMaker’s community programme helps generate new champions within communities, new peace makers, who sustain and proliferate the values of inclusivity and positive citizenship created through PeaceMaker’s interventions, long after the specific programme of work has been completed.
